Mueller is accused of strangling Renee Redmer last January, placing the body in a cooler in the garage of his mothers apartment building. Prosecutors allege Pinno drove her son to Worths home, where he burned Redmers body in a burn barrel with the help of Worth. Pinno and Worth will also stand trial on charges of mutilating a corpse and aiding a felon. Terry Wasserman testified Brandon Mueller confessed to strangling Redmer last January and cleaning up blood from the crime. “When the blood had gotten onto the carpet, I believe he used bleach to get it out,” Wasserman said. Wasserman said he and Mueller were friends. He also testified he confided in others about Muellers admissions. Once Mueller discovered others knew about the crime, he decided to get rid of the body. He told me he had taken it to Donny’s house and that he had burned it for 12 to 14 hours in a barrel, and then took the ashes and put them in Lake WinnebagoHe said he used gasoline and mentioned he was surprised there wasn’t a lot of bones, just ash.” Wasserman testified.
