Did I Make the Right Choice?

Question by prettyparadoxal 1: did i make the right choice?
i fell in love with a guy that had a heroin addiction. his mother gave him oxis to shoot up and we struggled for almost four years to beat it. … well we did the impossible and he sobered up all the way across the country. i had belief that he was going to “shape up” he then couldnt keep a job was rediculously jelous and controlling stalked me and harrassed me at my work, it was a nightmare. i left my kids with my mother and when we went back to get them he started drugs again so i said im fed up im done its over. he …i think has finally left for good… but he went to wisconsin to be with his mother and i am now stranded in arkansas. i have a couple hundred to my name and no way to get me and my two sons back to florida. i just got a place there and have worked intensly intensly hard to get it. i have no way to make money here and now after finally having the courage to get rid of him i am stuck with no car. did i do the right thing ? he was our ride back to florida but i dont want that drug issue around my kids
he couldnt function after he sobered- i forgot to add that
