Question by cassie f: Are there drug rehab centers in Bulington, Vermont that don’t use methadone?
I know methadone is safe when used as prescribed. But my friend is pregnant and maybe her child will get affected by methadone and may experience methadone withdrawal once he is delivered. I would like to be able to help her by finding a rehabilitation center that will be able to take good care of her and her baby. Please help.

Consulting a doctor would be the best way to go. You’re not sure about methadone and it’s effects on the baby. Maybe it won’t do the baby any harm at all. In addition to consulting a doctor, you should also ask the rehabilitation program about what methods they employ and the drugs that they use, and if these would have any adverse effects on the baby. As for finding rehab centers in your area, you could probably ask for recommendations from a doctor, or you could scour the internet for possible lists.
